Counselling Therapy

Psychotherapy and Counselling is also known as Talk Therapy. Psychotherapy has been clinically proven to help with stress reduction, the impact of trauma, medical illness or loss. the death of a loved one, relationship issues as well as specific mental health issues such as depression or anxiety.

Counselling offers a confidential setting to talk about life's challenges with a professional therapist. Whether your experiencing difficulties or looking for deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can bring clarity and peace of mind and help you move forward in a more focused and positive way.

CranioSacral

Therapy

CranioSacral therapy is a hands on light touch therapy .This gentle yet effective treatment supports the body's own potential for healing, and can aid the release of physical and emotional tensions and restrictions which may be held in the body.

As a CranioSacral therapist I work with the fluids and soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. As the central nervous system greatly influences our mental and physical health. This therapy supports both mental health as well as physical wellbeing. The experience of this therapy can be deeply relaxing as well as aiding release of physical and emotional tensions in the body.

Treatments last about one hour and take place with the client relaxing fully clothed on a massage table. The therapist places their hands on various points on the body to assess and treat.

CranioSacral Therapy is suitable for all ages and works particularly well for babies and children.

Constellation Rituals

Family constellations was initially developed by Bert Hellinger to gain insight into hidden family dynamics and intergenerational trauma. This profound and deeply healing approach allows us to witness hidden dynamics in our family system or within our own consciousness. Family constellations offers the opportunity to let go of unconscious bonds and unhealthy patterns within our families and ourselves, allowing for healthier relationships and personal empowerment.

These rituals have evolved to offer a window into any situation often giving insight and healing which can be transformative.

This method is practiced in a group setting or can be done in a personal therapy session.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is an ancient practice of meditation that has been proven as a treatment for modern day issues.
Connecting us to the sensations of the present moment and helping us to become observers of our thoughts and feelings. Through heightened awareness we come to realise that thoughts and feelings are transient, and we are better equipped to cope with difficulties as they arise. Mindfulness empowers us to witness our difficulties and make conscious choices on how to act on them
Meditation is far more than a means of relaxation, it is a tool to cope with stress, and daily chaos that can occur in our lives.

I offer regular meditation groups or if you prefer one to one guidance on meditation and mindful living.
